High Seas Marine — Vessel Maintenance Works

Project Overview

Keeping a working vessel in service means periodic maintenance that goes well beyond a coat of paint — hull integrity, deck condition, and the mechanical components that take the daily wear of docking and operation all need attention. For High Seas Marine, Jurosh carried out a full maintenance pass covering surface treatment, structural repair, and mechanical refurbishment.

Surface work began with sand blasting to strip the hull and superstructure back to sound metal, clearing corrosion and old coatings before repainting — a necessary step, since paint applied over a compromised surface fails fast in a marine environment. Deck and flooring maintenance followed the same logic: worn surfaces brought back to a serviceable, safe condition rather than patched over.

The mechanical side of the scope covered repair of fenders, hull sections, and starboard and propeller components — the parts of a vessel that absorb the physical impact of routine operation and need direct repair rather than cosmetic attention. Taken together, the surface and mechanical work returned the vessel to a service-ready condition, inspected and refurbished rather than simply refreshed.

Scope Highlights

  • Sand blasting and painting works across the vessel hull and superstructure.
  • Maintenance of vessel flooring, deck and related surfaces.
  • Repair of fenders, hull, starboard and propeller components.
