Maintenance works on the Harvey H. Ward rig covered a wide scope across structural, mechanical and interior trades — sand blasting and repairing, steel fabrication, motor repairing with winding, plumbing and electrical works, door and lock repairs, vinyl flooring, furniture repair and arranging, painting, and glass repair and shade works.
On the mechanical side, corroded components were stripped back and repaired rather than simply replaced, while interior spaces — galley, corridors and cabins — were brought back to a finished, serviceable condition with new vinyl flooring throughout.
